About the module:
This elearning module is about using Beyond Words stories to support students’ Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and to teach them about healthy relationships. This e-learning will be useful for teachers, teaching assistants and parents.
By completing this module, you will learn how Beyond Words materials can help with:
Recognising and understanding a child/young person's fears and concerns
Improving communication and finding strategies to reduce anxiety
Developing a child/young person’s ability and confidence in forming healthy and loving relationships
Recognising signs that a child/young person may be at risk.
The simple but powerful techniques explained in this module will equip you with the skills and confidence to deal with questions, concerns, or fears about a range of difficult experiences and emotions that children and young people may face in their lives.
